One day, Hazrat Mujaddid Alf-e-Saniرحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ said to the gathering of Salikeen that “I am looking at, ‘ھو الکافر’ is written on a person’s forehead.” After listening that attendees got frightened. Five or six months later, Sheikh Tahir fell in love with an infidel woman and then, he was walking around wearing a ‘Zunnar’ (cross thread) on his neck and sometimes, he used to go to temple. Therefore, Hazrat Mujaddid رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ made the Dua (supplication) for him and he referred to the supplication of Hazrat Ghaus-ul-Azamرضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ in his prays. Then Almighty Allah accepted his supplication by His special grace. The supplication’s effect of Hazrat Mujaddidرضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ appeared straight away. Why do we take an oath of the allegiance?
Respected readers, It can be assessed from this incident, how did Satan attack on the faith of a great Scholar of the time (that) Satan sent him into a temple. If Hazrat Mujaddid رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ had not helped him, his knowledge and practice would have been destroyed. That’s why, we respect for the Saints and we are associated with them. By their blessings, we will get the safety of our faith in the world, the ease in grave, the intercession in the Day of Judgment and Heaven.
He passed away on Thursday, on 8th Muharram-ul-Haram, 1040 AH/ 1630 AD and he was buried in his teaching place. He was fifty six years at the time of demise and his blessed Shrine is at the Miani Sahib cemetery (Lahore).
