Ghaus-ul-Azamرحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ  met him

Like him, at the age of 18, Huzoor Sayyiduna Ghaus-ul-Azam also came to Baghdad from his homeland for the acquisition of knowledge. When he completed his study, he met to Hazrat Khwaja Yousuf Hamdani رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ . He wrote about that meeting like this:

“A person came in Baghdad who was called Yousuf Hamdaniرحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ  and it was called that he was a Qutb. He stayed at inn. When I listened about him, then went there but I did not find him. I came to know after inquiring that he was in Sardab. Thus, I went there, then he immediately stood by looking at me. He sat me close to him and mentioned my circumstances to me. He solved my all difficulties. Then, he said to me that preach to the people. I requested, I am an Ajmi (non-Arab) and what is the value of my speech against the eloquence of people of Baghdad? After listening that he said, you have memorized the Jurisprudence and its principles, differences in religion, Nahw, language’s vocabulary and interpretation of the Holy Quran and you have the ability of delivering sermon. Deliver speech in front of people on the pulpit because I am looking a root in you which will soon become the tree.”

It is proved that Khwajah Yousuf Hamdani is the one of the great Mashaikh who likes Hazrat Ghaus-ul-Azam رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ  and he kept on presenting in his blessed company too.
