Peer-e-Tareeqat, Rahbar-e-Shariat Hazrat Allama Qari Muslehuddin Razavi Siddiqi رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ
Name and Linage:
His genealogy is as follows:
“Hazrat Allama Qari Muhammad Muslehuddin Siddiqi son of Ghulam Jilani son of Muhammad Nooruddin son of Shah Muhammad Husain son of Shah Ghulam Jilani son of Shah Ghulam Mohiuddin son of Shah Muhammad Yousuf son of Shah Muhammad son of Muhammad Yousuf رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہم.”
Date of the Birth:
He was born at Kandhar, Nanded district, Hyderabad Deccan state (India) at Dawn on Monday11th Rabbi-ul-Awwal 1336 AH/1917 AD.
Education and Training:
He learnt reciting the Holy Quran at the age of nine and completely memorized it from his respected father at the age of fourteen years. Then, his primary education was started. For the purpose of attaining further education, he took admission in Dar-ul-Uloom Ashrafiya Misbah-ul-Uloom at Mubarakpur in 1354/1935. After that, he went to Jamia Arabia Nagpur and completed Islamic education there. He got Islamic sciences from the renowned scholars of his time. Sadr-us-Shariah Mufti Muhammad Amjad Ali Azami, Hujjat-ul-Islam Maulana Muhammad Hamid Raza Khan, Muhaddith-e-Azam-e-Hind Syed Muhammad Razavi Ashrafi, Hafiz-e-Millat Maulana Abdul Aziz Mubarakpuri, Maulana Muhammad Suleman Bhagalpuri, Hazrat Maulana Sanaullah Azami رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہم are included in them.
Character and Peculiarities:
The personality of Qari Muhammad Muslehuddin رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ was an amalgam of the ascetic, piety, pledges and assurance, content and good character. His personality was attractive to the Glamor limit. He adhered to the orders of Almighty Allah His beloved Prophet صلّی اللہ تعالٰی علیہ وسلّم. Particularly, the Holy Prophetصلی اللہ تعالٰی علیہ وسلم, Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ and all the Auliya-e-Kiram علیھم الرّحمہ’s love was present in his veins. Therefore, visiting to the Shrines of Auliya-e-Kiramعلیھم الرّحمہ was the part of his routine and all his gatherings and speeches were filled with mentioning of the biography of Auliya-e-Kiram علیھم الرّحمہ. His piety had reached to the such extent, that he never taught any lesson without ablution (Wudu) and he always tried to stay in the state of ablution. Humility and morality was the most dominant element of his nature. He kept serving Islam for forty years. May Allah bestow His mercy and blessings upon his grave (Ameen).
It was 7th Jamadi-us-Thani 1403/ 23rd March 1983, on Wednesday, at 4:30, this great scholar of Islam passed away from this world. His shrine is the resort of all at Muslehuddin Garden (previously called Khori Garden), Karachi.
