Haji Abu Ubaid Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmad Qadri Attari (تذکرہ / سوانح)
An excellent Naat reciter, a preacher of Dawat-e-Islami, Al-haj Abu Ubaid Qari Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmad Attari, son of Maulana Akhlaq Ahmad, was born on Sunday, Ramadan 18, 1386 A.H. (January 1, 1967), in Bannu (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan). Before he settled in Babul Madinah Karachi, he had lived in Sardarabad (Faisalabad, Pakistan). He served for many years as the Imam of Madina Masjid, Orangi Town, Babul Madinah Karachi. Since 1995 until his demise, he also served as the Imam and orator of Jama Masjid Kanzul Iman (Babri Chowk, Babul Madinah, Karachi). He was Hafiz of the 8 parts of the Holy Quran and was an excellent Qari.
He had completed four years of Dars-e-Nizami but his religious knowledge was no less than a qualified and erudite Islamic scholar. He worked for many years as a senior auditor in the government accounts department. He taught English language in Jamia-tul-Madina (Sabz Market, Babul Madinah, Karachi). By the Grace of Almighty Allah, He was privileged to perform Hajj and visit the Holy city of Madina four times.
